Tattoo care

This is your reminder, how to take care about your fresh tattoo.

A tattoo is a fresh wound which has to be carefully treated. In order to achieve the most optimal healing, i prepared some guidelines for you. i always do my best to prevent cross-contamination to keep high hygiene standards and procedures. But it is also your responsibility to avoid possibility of an infection by treating the tattoo responsibly. Please follow these recommendations.

First days

Keep the protection film (”second skin”) on the tattoo for at least 24 hours and maximum for 3 days.

how to remove the protection film?

Remove the film with clean hands in the shower/after the shower or under the running water.

what after?

After removing the protection film wash your tattoo gently with neutral unscented antibacterial soap and water twice a day. Allow the tattoo to airdry and if the tattoo feels dry, apply A thin layer AFTERCAre tattoo ointment (specialised tattoo AFTERCARe products or natural shea butter). When the tattoo IS healed (approximately after 4 weeks) use some sunscreen, especially during the summer. If you think that you might need a touch-up, feel free to contact me after 5 weeks from our appointment.

you can shower with/without the “second skin” on
